Barrel Selection Pinot Noir 2013 – 5 Stars, 93 points
A savoury, engaging style, the lifted bouquet shows mature fruit, cured meat, clove and nutmeg characters. The palate is elegantly weighted and finely textured, together with mixed spice and black tea undertones, beautifully framed by fine, chalky tannins. An ideal partner to slow-cooked dishes. At its best: now to 2019.
Pinot Noir 2014 – 4.5 Stars, 91 points
Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows red/black cherry, vanilla and spice characters with a hint of cedar complexity. The palate is juicy and bright, and delivers attractive fruit intensity and silky texture, beautifully supported by fine tannins. The wine is flavoursome and friendly, and offers excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2019.
Pinot Noir 2012 – 4.5 Stars, 91 points
A beautifully maturing pinot, the fragrant bouquet shows dark berry, smoked game, earthy mushroom and thyme characters. The palate is rounded and supple, and offers silky mouthfeel and polished tannins, leading to a lingering savoury finish. The wine is harmonious and flavoursome, combining attractive fruit flavours with spicy, savoury notes. At its best: now to 2018.
